I’m a professional photographer working on a freelance basis. I’ve been involved in photography since childhood and turned professional in 1994 as a shooting assistant. From 1998 to 1999, I worked for a variety of periodicals at the Magazine Group of Hurriyet, the leading media conglomerate in Turkey before deciding to pursue an independent career path in photography. In addition to using my own studio in Istanbul for both professional purposes and personal experimentation, I’ve been regularly commissioned essays on the field from fashion, news, trade and corporate/promotional magazines such as Business Week, CEOs, Elle, Hello, Hillsider, Kariyer Net, Maison Française, Marie Claire, Mavilogy, S-mall Report and Thema, among others. Some of my works have been included in a number of books, and featured in international media such as the Time magazine.
